RS Group is a family office based in Hong Kong.

Since 2009, we have been committed to our mission of creating a paradigm shift in societal values, one that can lead to a just and regenerative world where humans live within planetary boundaries, in harmony with nature.

Since our last impact report in 2016, we have become much more aware that the world is facing a deepening meta-crisis where social, political, technological, and ecological challenges overlap with, and mutually reinforce, one another in complex ways.  Human actions have already led us to transgress seven out of nine Planetary Boundaries, destabilising the Earth System that allowed our species to flourish in the first place.

Confronting this meta-crisis can feel overwhelming. Yet we believe transformation begins with a shift in consciousness, within our individual self, our communities, our society, as well as our systems at large. We must recognise our ecological limits, rethink overconsumption, and redesign systems so that they support long-term planetary and human wellbeing rather than extractive growth.

Meaningful change requires reimagining our socio-cultural norms, economic priorities, and institutional structures. Systemic transformation across policy, finance, culture, and the individual must become the collective focus if we are to restore balance and equity.

We acknowledge the scale of the challenge, but we are committed to learning, experimenting, and contributing to the needed actions alongside other like-minded partners. 

As a team, we constantly challenge ourselves to reflect, learn, unlearn, and evolve to meet the needs of a fast-changing society and environment.

Our Principal Annie Chen has always seen RS Group as a journey of learning, evolving, and taking responsible action. Guided by our core values and adopting an approach centred on kindness yet without sacrificing rigour, we remain dedicated to “investing in the future we want to create”.
